Here at Megagame Towers, we often have all sorts of half-baked, or even fully baked ideas for new megagames.

Some of these we test out with our friends at Chestnut Lodge Wargames Group, others we try with an audience of willing guinea pig megagamers. These are our Tryout Games.

What?

Being tryouts, they are often novel and lack the same production values that a full megagame would have as well as not being guaranteed to work! However they always generate lively discussion and insight into the process of designing megagames.

Where?

At the moment these are held in London, and generally they are 3 hour sessions.

How Much?

There is a nominal charge for attending a Tryout Game, of £10-15 (£7.5 for unwaged etc), mainly to cover the cost of the venue, and typically we limit attendance to no more than about 20 people on a first come first served basis.
