The great upheaval in Europe of the 17th Century that became known as the Thirty Years War (1618-1648) was a combination of religious war, dynastic war and even civil war.
In this megagame, teams will represent the major forces at work, including kingdoms, armies and religious leadership.
The religious aspects of the war will feature heavily - fanatical devotion to various religious causes wil form a central part of the game.
And right in the middle of all this was the house of Habsburg - wheelers, dealers and potential Empire-builders. Will they come to dominate or be torn apart by the conflict?
